I had the unique opportunity to attend design camp this past fall at the proper hotel in Downtown Austin. Designers from all over the world attend this exclusive event that is typically held in New York and L.A. We all left with so many creative and innovative takeaways focusing on client experience, team building, design documentation and communication.
Keynote speakers included design visionaries such as Marie Flanigan, Clara Jung, and Shea McGee. Not only did the speakers inspire greatness but the attending designer did as well.
The job we do as designers is both intimate and important. We are invited into people’s lives and given the opportunity to create breathtaking spaces that house their most treasured moments. I left feeling grateful and bubbling over with inspiration for my clients and their stunning builds.
